Just as one finds comfort in the serenity of the outdoors, nature-inspired art – rather it be sea life, floral patterns or landscape photography – can have the same effect.
Nature art can bring back good memories of hikes, beach vacations and other outings, as well as being visually pleasing and a great way to spice up a dull room or blank wall.
I came across these painting by Yellena James while cruising Etsy. She is based out on Portland, Oregon and does both drawings and painting. Many of her pieces work in organic such as jellyfish and flowers, and juxtapose thick black lines with bright color.
