University of Florida Offers Rewards for Sustainable Transport

Check out this video interview  I filmed with two employees that were helping run the One Less Car Day, an event put on by Sustainable UF, encouraging students to use environmentally friendly modes of transport, such as bikes and buses.

    I was totally there – maybe 15 minutes later! Loved the shout-out to One Less Car Day – great event and reminder for Gainesvillians to be more eco-friendly. :)

    LATFH! This is UF making up for the fact that it runs the AC full-blast all winter long. Sweet video! Walking back and forth to work in its honor.

    Yeah, it was a cool thing they did Brave! I hope you got to try some of the yummy snacks.

    And yes afrobutterfly, UF does have some really cold buildings – including my office, which I used a space heater in the summer…what a waste!

      Yes — I use a space heater too! It’s Nov. 1 and the air conditioning is blasting out in my office even as I type this. Brrrrr. But outside it’s a beautiful 60F. What to do?
